Bought three old warehouses for $500. Demolished them with a nail puller, and moved them to two lots he owned adjacent to Museum of the Plains Indians. There, he used the lumber to make a small shop for taxidermy and the casting of miniature animal figurines created by himself. This was the beginning of the present complex studio. |

Main hall built and collection begun on full mounts of all major Montana animals, birds and fish; plaster cast of tracks skulls; forged; etc. It is the largest collection in Montana and includes a seven foot grizzly and a two thousand pound bull buffalo. The great majority of the game specimens were shot by Scriver. All were mounted by him. |
